Glencoe Robotics is recruiting new students

No experience necessary!*

If you are involved in other school clubs or sports you still may be able to participate depending on your skill level and group you are interest in.

Glencoe Robotics Club and Team

Robotics Club meets twice a week from September to December. Meeting hours are Mondays and Wednesdays 6:30 pm to 9 pm. We ask a small registration fee of $40 to help us purchase and replace educational supplies used during the club season. To join the team students must have participated 40 hours during Club season. Hours are acquired by participating at many extra events and Mock Build Week, see calendar for events.

Robotics Team meets every week night (M to W 6:30 to 9 pm and Fridays 6:30 to 9:30 pm) and Saturdays (10 am to 9 pm) from January to March. New students are expected to participate 80 hours and veterans 100 hours during the 6 week build season. These hours are easily met with only a few Saturdays and some weeknights to meet the minimum number of hours. To be part of the Team all students must apply and pay a participation fee. Skills are not the main requirement for students to be accepted in the team, but dedication, Gracious Professionalism, and excitement for learning are.
